A cute, punny Valentine’s card with a cute message – My heart is all tied-up over you!
DIY Valentine Card
Materials Needed:
Aleene’s® Memory Glue
Miscellaneous
Beads, small
Cardstock, tan speckle, red, white
Corrugated paper or dye-cut heart, red
Embossed paper, white
Fiskar™ paper edge, 2
Metallic thread or craft wire, 28 gauge, gold
Permanent marker, black, extra-fine
Instructions:
For best results, please read all instructions before beginning project. Refer to photo for color and design placement.
1. Cut a piece of speckled tan cardstock 8½” x 6” and fold in half to create card.
2. Using two different paper edges, cut a piece of white cardstock 1¼” x 3” and red cardstock 3¾” x 2¼”.
3. Glue white piece to lower right edge of card front. Glue red piece to center of white.
4. Cut a 3 ½” high slim heart or use a dye-cut heart. Wrap heart across and up and down with thread or wire and add beads to wire as desired.
5. Glue heart to left side of card, overlapping red and white pieces.
6. Using a permanent marker, print message on red cardstock on front of card.
7. Cut white embossed paper to fit inside card. Cut red cardstock ½” smaller on each side. Glue embossed paper inside card and center red cardstock on top. Add message if desired.
